WELCOME TO UCCLC

Welcome to the United Congregational Church of Little Compton! It is a joy to be the Minister of this beautiful and vibrant New England church. I am blessed to be serving a congregation that is steeped in the traditions and wisdom of a rich 300-year history, but is also thriving with the energy of a relevant and dynamic faith. This is truly a special place where all people are welcome: young and aged, believers or seekers, locals and transplants, from every walk of life, background, and pattern of family.
No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you will be welcome here to seek truth, find meaning, and know God’s movement in your life. My passion is for building relationships that connect people more deeply with one another and with God. I love working in community to foster these connections so that together we may fully experience God’s grace and love, discover fresh meaning in ancient scripture, hold each other in prayer, seek to bring justice to our world, and strive to make our faith the pattern for the way we live each day.
It is truly a privilege to lead worship in a congregation that values inspired preaching, magnificent music, and including children and youth as vital members of our church. Come join us as we seek to walk in the way of Christ by welcoming all people, sharing one another’s joys and sorrows, fostering healing and reconciliation, serving others, and bringing light to the dark places of our world.
I hope to see you next Sunday!
Grace and Peace,
The Reverend Rebecca Floyd Marshall
