What denomination are you?
We are a Congregational Church associated with the United Church of Christ in the Southern New England Conference.
What do you believe?
We are a Christian church that welcomes all people to explore their faith, deepen their connection to God, and experience the blessing of being part of a community committed to loving one another and God. Read our Welcome from our Pastor, and check out our Mission Statement.
Do you have to be a member to participate?
Whoever you are, and wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here! (i.e. Nope!)
When were you formed?
Our church began in 1704 and has a wonderfully rich history. More information can be found here.
How can I become a member?
If you wish to join our church, let us know! We would be glad to invite you to our next membership class.
When do your services begin?
Join us every Sunday at 10:00 am! Services are about an hour with a time of fellowship and refreshments to follow.
What options are there for kids?
Due to COVID-19, all programming is on hold. Please contact the Church if you are interested!
How do people dress?
People dress from very casual to suits and ties. All are welcome!
Is the church accessible?
Our sanctuary has cut-off pews and a wide front pew to allow for those who use a wheelchair or walker to sit comfortably with their families. Our fully accessible brand new north entrance and elevator will allow families to easily and safely enter and exit the building. There is a handicapped bathroom on the first floor.
Where do we park?
There is on-street parking (around the common) and adjacent to the post office on Willow Avenue.
Do you have an offering?
There is a free-will offering taken during the service. Envelopes are provided and you can give by check or by cash. Offerings can also be made online. Click here to do that.
When do you serve Communion?
We are not currently serving Communion due to COVID-19. When we do, we serve open communion to all ages on the first Sunday of the month and on special occasions. You do not have to be a member to receive.
Do you offer Christian Baptism?
We celebrate open Baptism for all ages during our church service. Click here for more information on baptisms.
