The North Garden in the Heart of the Historic Commons
Thank you for considering a gift to support the North Garden, a special public/private joint effort in the heart of the Little Compton Commons.
All gifts received by June 30, 2023 will be included in the commemorative book. This permanent book will list and recognize all donors for gifts of any and all sizes, as well as those in whose honor and memory gifts have been given.

Designed by nationally-acclaimed landscape architect and longtime Little Compton resident, John Gwynne, this project includes a permanent ramp for the church's new north entrance and meditative outdoor landscaping.
The outdoor space, like the church building itself, is beautiful yet simple in design, and will include the installation of understory trees and shrubs (i.e. combination of flowering, evergreen, and deciduous specimens) that surround the lawn area, and provide a layer of beauty and greenery. This space has been thoughtfully designed to feel like it has always been a part of the church and the Commons. It will be an extension of the church's interior sanctuary -- a meditative and communal space, a place to celebrate and remember, a multi-functional place where all are welcome.
We can not imagine a more important time to invest in this transformative, flexible, and simply beautiful outdoor space that imagines and will ultimately demonstrate what is possible when our church and our greater Little Compton community come together in a single effort of vision, generosity, and hope.
